SpeakOut Illinois is the state's premiere pro-life conference. This year's conference will feature keynote speakers Damon and Melanie Owens of Joyful Ever After. Former Illinois State Representative Jeanne Ives will receive the Henry Hyde Life Leadership Award.

Damon and Melanie Owens are the founders of Joyful Ever After, a ministry to help couples flourish in holy marriages, build strong marriage communities, and enrich parish life with the soul of the family. They have been married 27 years and have eight children.
Damon served as the first executive director of the Theology of the Body Institute and has published numerous articles and appears regularly on radio and television.
Melanie homeschooled the couple’s eight children and, along with Damon, keeps a full international speaking schedule on the good news of marriage, sexuality, adoption and theology of the body.
